Liane Copeland is the pseudonym of author Janet McClendon.  Janet is a retired paralegal and a graduate of Auburn University.  After decades as a legal professional, Janet decided to turn to her longtime love of writing.  “I fell in love with Southern Gothic while in college.  When you grow up in the deep south, storytelling is simply a part of life.”

In the days before the standing stones, the great Tuatha Dé Danann lay with mortal women of the human world.  The offspring of these fairy kings were marked with a small blue quiver---proof that they bore the immortal blood of the magic ones.  But the blood of the Fay became corrupted, and once again mortal man required the blessing of the goddess Danu.  A new prophecy emerged from the mists.

After a devastating year, Jordan just wants to get away for a relaxing summer in England.  But meeting a handsome stranger on her flight, was not part of the plan.  But when he propositions her, things get a whole lot more complicated.

Preston is not Jordan’s knight in shining armor, even though he owns a castle in Scotland.  But he is hot, rich, moody and loaded.  Plus, he just so happens to have a private library full of research that Jordan needs to finish her dissertation on the Bronte sisters.  Will Jordan really agree to be Preston’s fake fiancé for two weeks in order to fool his family?  It sounds simple, even though Jordan thinks it’s also sketchy as hell.

What’s a poor little Southern girl from lower Alabama gonna do when a billionaire with a British accent tells her that she is perfect for the ruse?  She takes him up on the offer, of course.  And suddenly Jordan finds herself right in the middle of her own personal gothic romance.

Duty Above All is a standalone HEA romance with close proximity, fake engagement and meddling rivals.  Heck, there’s even a ghost.
